Code of Conduct
Blue & Green is a politically and religiously independent company, and our Code of Conduct is based on our visions and our business concept, covering operations in its entirety in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
At Blue & Green, we believe in acting ethically and responsibly in all parts of our operation. Blue & Green’s Code of Conduct is our foundation in business and should be viewed as a comprehensive guideline for how Blue & Green’s work should be conducted.
We support and work according to the UN Global Compact, the UN Climate Programme, and the OECD guidelines for multinational companies.
This code contains a summary of our company policies and procedures, and we believe our values and principles define who we are, both to our customers and business partners. This Code of Conduct applies to all employees and is always expected to be adhered to by all staff as part of our daily work. We support a corporate culture that encourages every individual to speak freely and have their own opinions.
We comply with all applicable laws, wherever we do business, and we treat everyone in the market fairly and with integrity. This includes our customers, agents, distributors, competitors, suppliers, and contractors.

Scope
1. Safety and Physical/Psychological Well-being.
We commit to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees, always prioritizing safety. Everyone contributes to safety and well-being by fostering a safety culture, being aware of and knowledgeable about policies, standards, and procedures, and by reporting all incidents and unsafe conditions. We aim for a workplace that feels like home.
2. Diversity.
We respect diversity and our various personal characteristics, talents, skills, personalities, lifestyles, work experiences, ethnicities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, ages, national origins, and other qualities. A diverse team strengthens our company. We never discriminate or treat employees or job seekers unfairly.
3. Respect.
We treat everyone with dignity, decency, and respect, both within and outside the company. No form of harassment, threats, oppression, or exploitation is accepted. We neither use nor support any form of forced or child labor.
4. Confidentiality, Privacy, and Personal Life.
We respect freedom of association and collective bargaining. Our employees have the right to choose if they want to be represented by a union. We respect our employees’ privacy and protect the personal information we access. We only collect, process, and retain personal information for legitimate purposes and in compliance with applicable laws. Those with access to personal information are responsible for handling such information with utmost care and security to prevent unauthorized access and use.
5. Product Safety, Quality, and Information.
We ensure our products meet both global and national ethical and safety standards. We follow all applicable laws and regulations for chemical products and provide our customers and our employees with all legal and other necessary information about our products.
6. Competition and Trade.
We respect others’ intellectual property rights and confidential information, and we compete fairly, ethically, and within the confines of applicable competition laws. We comply with laws and regulations for trade. We follow all laws and rules that encompass our operation.
7. Corruption, Gifts, and Entertainment.
We do not tolerate corrupt payments, unethical conduct, or inappropriate gifts and benefits. We only collaborate with dealers and other partners that share our values, ensuring gifts or hospitality support a clear business purpose, are of reasonable value, and are appropriate given the business relationship.
8. Partners.
We choose to do business with stakeholders that share our principles and values according to this code. Our stakeholders can be anyone we cooperate with, e.g., our suppliers, dealers, distributors, customers, and contractors.
9. Money Laundering.
We neither accept, promote nor support any form of money laundering or funding of illegal activities and projects with illegitimate purposes. We follow all laws prohibiting money laundering and the financing of illegitimate purposes.
10. Human Rights.
We respect basic human rights and support The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN Global Compact, and we expect our suppliers and other collaborators to share these principles. We ensure that materials used in our products come from socially responsible sources, and we do not tolerate, contribute to, or promote any activity that exacerbates conflicts or violates human rights.
11. Governments and Authorities.
When we interact with governments and authorities, we are honest and accurate and follow all applicable laws.
12. Environment and Sustainability.
We proactively work to reduce our environmental impact and continuously improve our product range and environmental management. Our sustainability efforts also span several other areas.
13. Politics and Religion.
Our company name, Blue & Green, should not be associated with any specific political or religious organization.
14. Company Assets and Confidential Information.
We must all use the company’s resources honestly, efficiently, and solely for legitimate business purposes. These resources include physical property and company funds, and we protect our assets from theft, loss, damage, or misuse. Resources also encompass company time and confidential information. We handle all confidential information with the utmost secrecy and integrity.
15. Conflict of Interest.
We always act in the best interests of the company and our customers, free from personal motives.
16. Reliable Financial Records.
We commit to accuracy and transparency in our financial reporting. Our financial decisions are always based on facts, and we apply a high-quality standard when it comes to reporting financial information. All business transactions are reflected accurately and correctly in the company’s accounts.
17. Management of Deviations within the Supply Chain
We encourage everyone to report any deviations concerning social, ethical, or environmental compliance in our supply chain to the management. We will then take necessary actions, which may include terminating the relationship with the concerned party.
Violations of Blue & Green Code of Conduct such as abstain from report a known Code violation, or making a false report of a violation, may result in disciplinary action including termination of employment.
